Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Avatutor is committed to providing an equal service to all users, including people with disabilities. We work to make the site and the app accessible in line with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.

What we have done

  • An accessibility menu on every page of the site and the app (the button on the side of the screen): larger text, high contrast, highlighted links, stopped animations and a readable font. Your settings are saved on your device.
  • Hebrew (right to left) and English: the app, the home page and the legal pages in both; the blog, the demos and the lessons, teachers and businesses pages in Hebrew.
  • Captions for the recorded demo on the home page.
  • A semantic heading structure, and text alternatives for buttons and icons.

What is not yet fully accessible

  • The 3D classroom and the avatar teacher are a visual and spoken experience, and may not be fully accessible to screen readers. The learning content itself also appears as text, on the board and in the chat.
  • The spoken conversation with the teacher can also be held by typing in the chat, for anyone who cannot or prefers not to speak.
  • We keep improving accessibility. If you run into a difficulty, we want to hear about it and fix it.
