AI private tutor
2 min read
An AI private tutor is a tutor who is there at any hour, never tires of the same question the tenth time, and adapts exactly to your pace. On Avatutor it isn’t another chat window: the tutor stands in front of you in a 3D classroom, talks with you out loud, and writes and draws on a board while explaining.

A lesson, not an answer
A regular chat pours a long paragraph of text on you. A good private tutor does something else: checks what is already clear to you, explains one step, makes sure you got it - and only then moves on. That is exactly what the Avatutor tutor does, out loud and on the board.
Stop and ask at any moment
Didn’t get it? Press the stop button, and the tutor stops at once, hears your question and explains again - a different way if needed. You can speak into the microphone or type, and attach a photo, a PDF or a video of a question from your notebook or an exam.
A live board and a notebook that remembers
Formulas, graphs, tables and diagrams appear on the board step by step, and every lesson is saved in a notebook. Come back to it whenever you like and carry on with the tutor from where you stopped. The tutor also remembers what you are strong at and where you struggle - and comes back to the topics that haven’t settled yet.
Several tutors, several classrooms
Pick a tutor who suits you and learn in a regular classroom, a lecture hall or a classroom in space. The setting changes - the important thing stays: someone who explains until you understand.
This is how it looks in the app
Short demos from the app itself - Noam, our sample student, learns with the teacher. Recorded in Hebrew.

An equation is a balance
1:30Alon shows why you do the same to both sides: 3x + 5 = 20 as a balance - take five from each side, divide by three, and Noam finds x himself.

Slope and area
2:00Alon, in the space classroom: the derivative is the tangent's slope - Noam finds it is 2x - and the integral is the area underneath, from rectangles to eight thirds. Then how the two connect.

Two days before the exam
1:30Noam attaches exam 35582 and gets stuck on question 1. Completing the square, a tangent to a circle, "wait, I didn't get it" - and in the end he solves it himself.
Frequently asked questions
How is an AI tutor different from an AI chat?

Which subjects can I learn?
Math from the basics up to high school finals and university, sciences such as physics, languages such as English, and many more topics. If you have a question in a subject - just ask.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Avatutor runs in the browser, best on a computer with Chrome or Edge.
How much does it cost?
There is a free trial with no credit card, and after it a monthly subscription with no commitment. Full details are on the home page.
